Avril Lavigne returns to where Tyga romance began in leg-baring oversized shirt

Avril Lavigne just gave fans deja vu as she returned to Europe over the weekend and touched down in Paris.

The French capital had its biannual Fashion Week in March, attracting public figures from across the world, and major buzz thanks to the Canadian singer's new romance.

Sparks flew for Avril when she was spotted kissing rapper Tyga in the midst of Paris Fashion Week, weeks after her split from fiancé Mod Sun.

The 38-year-old has returned to the City of Light for the final leg of her Love Sux Tour, in support of her seventh studio album of the same name, with her first show slated for April 12.

She posted photographs of time spent in the city ahead of her concert, posing in what looked to be her hotel in head-to-toe Vetements.

Avril wore a graphic neon oversized tee featuring the Vetements unicorn logo in Jurassic Park style, styling it with heeled sock boots, a choker necklace, and a black leather coat, leaving her toned legs bare.

"We back Paris. First show of the tour tomorrow night! Letssss gooo @girlfriends and @phem!" she captioned her post.

One of her fans excitedly commented: "See ya tomorrow, I've waited far too long. And it will soon be over, but definitely worth it," while another added: "Have a blast rock star!"

The return to Paris came not long after her ex-fiancé closed his own tour, the God Save the Teen Tour, in Los Angeles last week.

He opened up to the crowd about the break-up, acknowledging that it had been a difficult time while thanking his fans for having "saved my life."

Mod, real name Derek Smith, even performed the 2021 song "Flames," his collaboration with Avril which brought the two together, and was spotted visibly emotional when her part of the track played.

He then made a big move, stating that the song from his album that had been a dedication to the Canadian songstress, "Avril's Song," would be renamed to "Los Angeles Song," saying afterwards according to People: "Probably not a good idea to name the song after the person you're with at the time."
