Avril Lavigne was out in LA shooting a new video yesterday. Emily, who is our site coordinator, sent me a note last night comparing the look to Tank Girl. As in how dare this goddamn bitch disrespect Tank Girl!?
Oh it’s more of the same Avril. Avril in heavy eyeliner. Avril making devil signs with her hands, sticking out her tongue, wearing brand new combat boots that will never be scuffed. Someone out there thinks it’s cool. And that’s what the problem is.
But you know who the real star of this video will be?
Not sure what Winnie Cooper’s doing in an Avril Lavigne spot, seeing as she’s a MATH GIRL for Christ’s sake but for f-ck’s sake, look what they’ve done to the dog. He looks like an asshole. If for no other reason (and remember, she married Chad Kroeger), can we sh-t on Avril for that?
