So, one of my favorite movie events of all time was definitely Avengers: Endgame.
And while I have a TON of favorite moments from the movie, I still get chills every time I think about all of the women Avengers teaming up to help Peter Parker.
In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, Elizabeth Olsen revealed what it was like to film this monumental MCU moment and I'm obsessed.
And during filming, they all "knew how important the moment was" and they "felt the power."
She elaborated, saying, "It was such a specific shot. We had to find the perfect pocket so that everyone's face was seen."
Elizabeth said, "We had two cameras going at the same time because that was the only way we were going to be able to shoot it."
She basically described the moment as an elaborately choreographed dance, where everyone had to hit their spot exactly.
Elizabeth continued, "We had Tom Holland’s body double, then I had to land correctly jumping off a box, and then Danai [Gurira] had to be filmed when she had her line."
In the end, Elizabeth explained that "the scene had to grow and move, and then we had to run together perfectly."
Basically, I'm more impressed with the scene now that I know all the behind-the-scenes work that went into filming it.
Now if you need me, I'll be rewatching this scene from now until the end of time — or until we get an all-female Avengers movie.
